The Russian occupiers sent citizens of Uzbekistan to the front, who were going to the construction site in Mariupol.
It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook .
“In the units of the Russian occupation troops stationed in the temporarily occupied Gorlovka, Donetsk region, the presence of citizens of Uzbekistan was noted. The indicated persons arrived in the city of Mariupol to carry out construction work,” the report says.
At the same time, it is noted that upon arrival, passports were confiscated from citizens of Uzbekistan and mobilized into the occupation forces as volunteers.
Earlier, Reuters reported that in the Russian city of Orel, citizens of Uzbekistan working at a local waste processing plant were issued subpoenas and ordered to report to the military registration and enlistment office.
The situation at the front
According to the General Staff, the Russian invaders are concentrating their main efforts on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions, heavy fighting continues. During the day, there were about 30 combat clashes.
