The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance is being investigated by French authorities, according to media reports in France. The investigation is focused on its anti-money laundering procedures. It follows the announcement of the company’s departure from the Netherlands after it failed to obtain a licence from the Dutch central bank. The Indian and French Air Forces are participating in joint aerial drills as part of a multinational air exercise at the French airbase of Mont-de-Marsan. This exercise, called ‘Exercise Orion’, includes four Rafale jets, two C-17 aircraft, and two IL-78 mid-air refuellers deployed by India. French and German tax investigators are searching banks in Paris in relation to tax evasion and money laundering.
